I’m Hal, just your typical Canadian guy making his California dreams come true! I run Halban Photography, a Los Angeles-based award-winning professional photography service specializing in portraiture, commercial and dance imagery.

Creating images that are impactful and possess a sense of movement I find most exciting!! Some fun facts about me?? Well, before working in photography, I’d spent 25-years as a professional dancer performing on stages around the world. Right after that, I worked in broadcast news as a reporter and anchor, so you can say, I went from telling stories on stage, to chasing stories in the street, to now telling stories with my camera!!
